Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Validation

Further to the scientific evidence required in order to gain a patent, substances such as New Colloidal Silver Solution require certain approvals from the American EPA, including a Toxicity Rating.  Chemical spillages have to be reported to the EPA; the more toxic the substance (high Toxicity Rating), the smaller the volume of the spillage required before the EPA needs to be informed.

For example Clorox is very toxic, so a spillage of just 3 gallons would have to be reported to the EPA.  New Colloidal Silver Solution however, has such a very low Toxicity Rating that you would need to spill 12,500,000 (twelve million and five hundred thousand) gallons before you have to report it.
